Master Cleanser Fast Is This Lemonade Cleanse Good for You?
The Master Cleanser fast or the lemonade cleanse has been popularized by celebrities looking for a quick weight loss plan.

But the real question to ask is whether the Stanley Burroughs Master Cleanse is good for you. Or would you be better off doing a colon cleanser detox program?
For me, the short answer is no, the lemonade cleanse is not good for most people.
For several reasons: - The first is that you are depriving your body of essential nutrients and essentially starving yourself for 10 days.
Naturally, your body has to find the energy you need during this time from the stores you have. This often means burning muscle mass, especially if you are already lean. And if you have health issues to begin with, the strain you are putting on your body can be dangerous to your health.
- The second concern is the sugar content. Whether you use maple syrup as recommended or substitute agave or honey:
guess what? It all turns to sugar in the blood. The only sweetener that does not turn to sugar is stevia. so if you're determined to do a lemonade cleanse, substitute stevia as your sweetener.
- The third concern relates the greater shock to your body from fasting than you would have from doing a colon cleanser detox.
If you were previously on a standard diet of processed food, the detox symptoms can be quite severe. This is normally called a healing crisis. It's good that your body is cleansing - but it can be too harsh.
On the other hand, we found many people that positively believed in fasting. If you are in great health already, there are spiritual as well as cleansing benefits to fasting. Be easy on your body. Don't take it from one extreme to the other.
