Colon Massage with Your Colon Flush

Colon Massage

Colon massage is Part III
of the colon flush series. In the first part we discussed a colon flush and how to do one at home.

In the second part we discussed a wheatgrass enema and how to do one after the water.

We also learned how to do a home colonic , an even more effective form of colonic cleanse.

In high colonics which are administered by a colonic hydrotherapist, you should always have her do a colon massage.

You can give yourself a gentle massage either before or during the colon flush enema.

This is the best constipation treatment, but be gentle.

The most important thing to remember is to move in the direction that the colon waste travels. Your right side will be left on the diagram here.

Colon Massage Diagram

  1. So as you are lying down, you start on the right side, near your appendix.
  2. From here, the colon travels upwards to your ribcage, then across before going down on the left side.
  3. Make small clockwise circles putting some pressure, but not so as to cause pain. You can feel the areas that are more sensitive and gently work them.
  4. You can also use a handheld massager. You will likely find that one with heat is more effective and relaxing.

Anytime you do a massage or colon flush, listen to your body. If you have any severe pain, stop. If you feel some discomfort, work with it and see if it gets better.

When you listen to your body, it will let you know how you can help. It's a much better way to live than always trying to figure out everything with your head. The body has its own innate intelligence!

The reason this is such a powerful constipation treatment is that you are working directly with your body and gently loosening the clogged portions.

To recap, start on the lower right by your appendix and always move in the direction that waste normally travels through the colon.

Down by the appendix is your ileocecal valve, the gateway between the small intestine and colon. Regular massage will strengthen the ileocecal valve and help to loosen and move any old clogged matter lodged near the appendix or throughout the colon.

That's why I recommend doing it before or during a colon flush. Yes, even while you're full of water, though it's more comfortable to do it before.

A good colonic hydrotherapist will always include colon massage as part of high colonics.
